Shreelakshmi was born on February 5, 1998 in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. She was a bright child with a penchant for computers. She began using computers at the age of three. At four, she started learning web design and had already successfully designed a website (www.presentationhss.com) for her school by the time she turned six. The website was inaugurated by Bijoy Vishwam, Forest Minister, Government of Kerala, on 15 January, 2007. Her achievement gained huge media coverage and worldwide acknowledgement in 2006.

All these achievements propelled her to aim for more. She went on to launch her startup called eDesign in 2009 at the age of eleven, becoming the youngest woman entrepreneur in India. The company offers a comprehensive approach to website design and web development. She also started her second company, TinyLogo around the age of eleven.
ShreeLakshmi is also a philanthropist who manages another company, Online Pixel, which imparts knowledge to the needy. Apart from these ventures, she has also designed a website for the Bar Council of Kerala. Currently, she is working as the CEO of eDesign Technologies while also pursuing a BBA from Kozhikode, Kerala. She has designed and developed over 100 websites thus far.
🏆 Accolades And Recognitions
Shreelakshmi is exponentially talented and has won over 40 national and international awards, which include the National Child Award for exceptional achievement in 2008 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, India. The award was bestowed on her by Sonia Gandhi at a function held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 5 January 2009. She has also been awarded the American Association of Webmasters Merit Award, Feeblemind’s Award of Excellence in the UK, Golden Web Award in the USA, Watashi Science Movement Excellence Award and many more.
Shreelakshmi’s feat is remarkable, however, what makes her story truly inspiring is her self-awareness, the ability to recognise and harness her skillset and make the most out of it. Hard work and consistency aided her to reach the zenith of her potential at a very young age.
